Brotherhobby landsnail electric skateboard VS Firefly electric standup scooter

In this article, we will discuss the reasons why you would want a stand up electric scooter or an electric skateboard.

Having used both types of transportation for a while now I have come to the conclusion that each type of transportation has its purpose and use. Each one is unique and has its positive and negative points and as the buyer, I want to let you know what to expect before you make the purchase.  The below table is for reference only. I have used both and love them both in there own way!

Electric Skateboards

 Positives

  1.  They are fun. I find that I use mine in different ways. Like taking it to work and using it at lunch to alleviate stress, or going to get some lunch instead of using my vehicle.
  2.  Easy to take them inside with you
  3. They can be charged anywhere there is an outlet
  4. Storage is simple. You can hang them on the wall or put them behind a door
  5. Will fit in a car better. No matter what you say dual-motor scooters are just bigger.

Negatives

  1.  Not for everyone since you need more balance to use them
  2. Battery life is usually less due to weight and size.
  3. More dangerous. Need safety pads because are less visible. Usually do not have safety lights and you will need to to think forward farther due to they do not turn as fast as scooters.

  4. They can be charged anywhere there is an outlet
  5. Environmental friendly
  6. Easier to ride do to having a handlebar.

  4. Harder to storage. If you live in a small apartment you may have difficulty finding a place to put it, or it will be in the way
